R.I.P. Eddie

I'm sure most of you have heard by now that pro wrestler Eddie Guerrero has passed away. Despite all the stories and rumors of his tragic death, the truth is as follows...

Eddie was scheduled for the taping of Smackdown! and supposedly was to once again win the World Title from Batista. When he did not answer his wake-up call, Chavo Guerrero went up to his room and found Eddie laying on the bed. Eddie died that Sunday morning of heart failure due to his past struggles with drugs, alchohol, and the strain he has put upon himself to give the fans the show they deserve.

Eddie will forever be remembered as one of the best, most faithful to his Lord, most heartful, and funniest guys to ever grace the wrestling locker rooms. On Monday Night RAW, all the wrestlers showed respect for the fallen icon with the traditional 10 bell ringing. Many, if not most, of the wrestlers were crying...such as Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Dean Melinko, Shelton Benjamin, Kurt Angle, Triple H, The Big Show, Lilian Garcia, and many more.

May you be remembered through the sport of wrestling you loved so dear and helped make what it is today with your smile, talent, and most of all...your presence. Each time a frog splash is performed, and all the flashes from the cameras go off...you will always be the one in my mind doing that splash.

Eddie...I miss and love you. You're in a better place, tagging up with the big man upstairs. You've been one of the biggest influences in my life with your winning battle over all your problems. You've helped make me the wrestler I am today and you will always be in my heart each time I'm in the ring.
